Junior Programs

Harvey Norman Competition:

The ESTA runs a junior tournament (mixed and also open to adults) 4 times per year coinciding with the NSW school terms on Saturday night from 6.00pm to 9.00pm. In total, there are 4 grades where grading is based on ability not on age or gender and open to players all over Australia. This tournament is sponsored by Harvey Norman Computer Superstore at Moore Park.

FORMAT: Players are guaranteed 4 single matches on the night unless they have a bye. Players accumulate points for each win and nothing for a loss. Winners normally play the winner and losers play the losers. Players will accumulate points for the 4 weeks and the top 8 players will play for positions on the fifth week. The remaining players will play for 9th and 10th position. Harvey Norman vouchers will be awarded to the top 4 players. The winner of each division will be promoted to the next division. The total prize money is $2,000.00.
